This double issue is a way for us to do our mea culpa, by giving you a nice gift! A 48 pages issue of ST Magazine at the price of the usual 36 pages ST Magazine!
Indeed, we had to suffer several unexpected events. The French version was thus very late, which lateness is necessarily reflected on the English version you're currently reading. We were so late we decided to do a double issue, grouping the best of the French 139 and 140 STMags, to avoid having a two issues difference between the two versions of the magazine.
We hope the idea will please you, and that you'll be happy to be able to read us. You have to know we do our best to offer this English version in parallel to the French one, because we know there is an audience, with the Atari spirit, appreciating to read a paper magazine speaking of their favourite universe, supplementing perfectly the jumble mine of information that the Internet is.
In parallel to this, we announce the setting up of frequent online news (at least once a week) on our site (http://stmagazine.org), to be as close to current events as possible, without necessarily having to wait for the paper version of ST Magazine. In addition, these news will be available both in French and in English. Thanks to Strider, Didier and Paul.
In our magazine, we'll continue to reflect on the situation, test, do hands-on articles, programming, etc.
A good read to all of you. Let's meet in our issue 141, planned for February.
And don't forget our 20 years of Atari ST special issue, retracing all the history of this great machine.
